Andrew Zetterholm joined The Novak Consulting Group in January 2011 after six years working in operations and project management roles in the private sector. Four of those years involved working closely with local and state governments. These roles have given Andrew experience in cost-cutting strategies, process improvement initiatives, cash flow analysis, and IT project management.

Andrew’s work in the private sector included day to day management and operations experience in both the retail and development arena. While serving as Vice President of a real estate development company, Andrew focused on major process redesigns to decrease “build out” times for new developments. In this role, he interacted frequently with local, state and federal government officials to coordinate permitting, environmental impact assessments, and various other land use requirements.

Andrew’s local government experience includes internships with Loudon County and the Town of Purcellville, Virginia where he worked on human resource and personnel initiatives for the Town Council. Additionally, he also wrote for an open source research and analysis periodical for the Federal Government in Washington, D.C. and interned for a member of the US Congress.

He has a bachelor’s degree in government from Patrick Henry College and a master’s degree in business administration from Wake Forest University. He also has a certification in Lean Office methodology from the University of Michigan. He is an active member of his local church, serving as deacon responsible for all physical maintenance of the building and grounds.
