In addition to our core staff in Cincinnati, we have full-time, senior consultants in the metropolitan areas of Washington, DC and the Raleigh-Durham Triangle. Our full-time team is supplemented by subject matter experts in other geographic areas. The Multi-Media Marketing Specialist position is based out of our Cincinnati office. What does a Multi-Media Marketing Specialist do? Creates visually appealing and relevant promotional materials for print, web, and social media Designs, writes, and edits a variety of printed material including brochures, flyers, newsletters, reports, infographics, proposals, and other collateral using InDesign or similar program Designs and posts updates to our company website Develops and plans social media marketing posts Maintains knowledge of current programs and trends in marketing and assists with administrative duties Maybe more depending on skillset and initiative Who is the ideal TNCG Multi-Media Marketing Specialist? Lives, eats, and breathes graphic design An effective communicator who learns the audience and plans accordingly The intellectually curious The naturally creative An independent person who is productive even without constant or immediate supervision Laughs in the face of unanswered questions and gets them resolved Meets deadlines – even the tight ones – without sacrificing the quality of the finished product Understands our need for creative one-off projects and the routine, fill-in-the-blank ones We’re looking for someone with a degree in graphic design, public relations, communications, journalism or a related field in addition to marketing and design expertise. At least two years of post-college work experience in a similar role is required. This person needs to know the industry standard journalistic style, graphic design, and layout techniques used to create varied communication materials that are relevant, accurate, and comprehensive. In addition, we need someone who is an effective project manager with demonstrated experience developing, planning, organizing, implementing, and monitoring projects to completion. Experience using social networking channels for communication is a plus. A passion for public service and a belief that government can be great are high on our wish list, too. What do we offer?
