The Novak Consulting Group is searching for a new member for our Executive Search team. We’re a small local government consulting firm in Cincinnati, Ohio. In addition to our core staff in Cincinnati, we have full-time, senior consultants in the Washington, D.C. and Raleigh-Durham Triangle metropolitan areas. Our team is supplemented by subject matter experts in other geographic areas. The recruitment specialist assists our executive search practice leader in a variety of ways: Researching and writing recruitment brochures Analyzing survey data Conducting outreach to potential applicants Reviewing applicant materials Conducting phone interviews and reference checks Preparing memos and reports Providing prompt communication with clients and applicants Provide on-site support for meetings and interviews This person needs the flexibility and willingness to meet each responsibility with a high level of enthusiasm, responsiveness, and attention to detail, from attending meetings with city council members to conducting internet research to sifting through data. We’re looking for someone with a master’s degree, at least 1-2 years of local government experience, and the ability to travel about 25% of the time. The ideal candidate has a strong sense of urgency, can zig and zag, and has a passion for local government. What do we offer?
