Who are we?

The Novak Consulting Group is searching for an office professional to join our support staff and work closely with our Executive Search team. We’re a local government consulting firm in Cincinnati, Ohio that serves clients across the country. In addition to our core staff in Cincinnati, we have full-time, senior consultants in the Washington, D.C. and Raleigh-Durham Triangle metropolitan areas. Our team is supplemented by subject matter experts in other geographic areas.

We work hard (so it’s extremely quiet here most of the time), but sometimes we play games and get lunch together. We like each other, love coffee, and have a fondness for all things edible (at least most of them). You can check us out at

What does a TNCG Administrative Assistant do?

This person will work 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday and take ownership of several key tasks:

  • Participate in all aspects of office support including answering phones, greeting guests, and receiving packages
  • Provide support for the creation, proofing, and production of proposals
  • Provide administrative support for our busy executive recruitment practice:
    • Acknowledging and tracking applicants
    • Internet research to create outreach lists
    • Printing and assembling interview books
    • Proofing and creating a variety of documents
    • Placing ads
    • Running background checks

Who is the ideal TNCG Administrative Assistant?

This person needs mental agility, attention to detail, excellent proofreading and writing skills, experience managing multiple competing deadlines, and a can-do attitude. At least five years of administrative experience is needed and if it was in human resources or recruiting, that only makes it better.
